I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Media from the University of the Arts Utrecht and completed a Master’s in Film Studies and Visual Culture at the University of Antwerp. My thesis focused on the ethical stance documentary filmmakers can take in the poetic representation of their participants. My documentaries resolve around young adults who struggle with a difficult stage in life. Often with a societal critique through an explorative and intuïtive form.
